1. Who we are and what you are accepting

ydw.app ("YDW", "the service") is a wedding planning tool. Whoever operates it ("the operator", "we") is responsible for the service and the point of contact for anything concerning these Terms: contact@ydw.app.

By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box while creating your wedding, or using the service in any way, you accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the service.

2. What the service is

YDW is a web tool for organising a wedding: guest list and RSVPs, dual-currency budget, payments and due dates, vendors, table seating, checklist and invitations. The free plan includes all of those features with no time limit.

YDW does not organise your wedding, does not hire vendors, is not a party to any contract between you and a vendor, and does not collect or administer payments to third parties. It is a record-keeping and arithmetic tool: the figures it shows are the ones you entered.

3. Who may use it

To create an account you must be 18 or older and legally able to be bound by these Terms. The service is not directed at minors.

4. Your account

You can create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity under your account. Tell us as soon as you suspect unauthorised access.

Each wedding belongs to whoever created it, who can add their partner through an invitation link. Both people see and edit the same data, but only the person who created it can delete it.

5. Premium

Premium is a one-time payment per wedding of 2,550 Uruguayan pesos (UYU), processed by Mercado Pago through its checkout. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, it is not charged again, and there is nothing to cancel. Your card details never pass through YDW.

Premium unlocks the artificial-intelligence features: guest import from pasted text, receipt reading, the assistant, seating proposals, drafting of invitations, speeches and vows, and dress design.

Each AI feature has usage caps per day, per month and per wedding, permanently. The permanent caps never reset: they exist because the payment is one-time while every model call costs us money. They are anti-abuse ceilings set well above what planning a wedding actually takes; if you reach one, that feature stops being available for that wedding and the rest of the service keeps working normally.

Right of withdrawal. Under article 16 of Uruguayan Law 17.250 on Consumer Relations, this being a distance purchase, you may withdraw within 5 business days of the transaction at no cost. That right lapses to the extent that you have consumed the Premium features: every AI model call has a cost that has already been incurred and cannot be undone. To exercise it, write to contact@ydw.app from your account's email address.

6. Your content and other people's data

Everything you upload stays yours: names, budget, receipts, photos, texts. We claim no ownership over any of it. You grant us only the licence needed to store it, process it and show it back to you inside the service, and to send it to the providers listed in the Privacy Policy when you use a feature that requires it.

Much of what you enter is other people's data: your guests and your vendors. By entering it you represent and warrant that you are entitled to do so and that you will inform those people that their data is being processed in YDW for this purpose. The RSVP page your guests receive links to our Privacy Policy to help you with that.

As regards your guests, you are the one deciding what data is entered and why; we process it on your behalf and on your instructions.

7. Artificial-intelligence features

AI features produce results automatically and can be wrong. Always check before relying on them: an amount read off a receipt, a guest imported from a pasted list, a seating proposal or a drafted text are drafts, not verified facts.

The assistant answers about your wedding's data. It is not professional, financial, accounting or legal advice.

Dress designs are illustrative. An image model does not produce a sewing pattern: it has no measurements, no meaningful grainline and no real seam allowances. The images are stamped as illustrative inside the image itself, and the construction sheet lists the measurements that need to be taken, never a value for any of them. Take them to a dressmaker as a visual reference, not as a cutting pattern.

To produce these results, the relevant content is sent to the model providers named in the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use YDW to:

• upload unlawful or defamatory content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
• upload data about people you are not entitled to enter;
• abuse guest RSVP links: brute-forcing or enumerating them, or answering on someone else's behalf;
• scrape data automatically, reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent usage caps or plan checks;
• interfere with the infrastructure, deliberately overload it, or attempt to reach another wedding's data.

9. Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is". We do what is reasonable to keep it available and backed up, but we do not guarantee an uptime percentage, freedom from errors, or that AI results are correct. We may change, suspend or discontinue features; if we discontinue something material to Premium, we will give reasonable notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by Uruguayan law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid for that wedding. Nothing in these Terms limits the non-waivable rights Law 17.250 grants you.

10. Closing your account and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and final: there is no bin and no grace period.

• If you created the wedding, all of it is deleted — guests, budget, payments, receipts, tables, checklist and designs — even if your partner has access, and they lose it too.
• If you joined as a partner, your account and your access are deleted; the wedding continues to exist for whoever created it.

Deletion does not entitle you to a refund of the Premium payment unless the right of withdrawal in clause 5 applies. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, giving notice where reasonably possible.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update them. The version in force and its date are always shown at the top of this page. If a change is material we will announce it inside the application before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means accepting the new version.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of the city of Montevideo, without prejudice to the forums consumer legislation grants the consumer.
